I am a scientist by training (PhD in Biochemistry) and dedicated the first half of my career to research (Agrochemistry and Food technology Institute, Spain; UT Southwestern Medical Center, USA-, and Imperial College London; UK).

After an MBA and some experience as an entrepreneur I moved into venture capital. First at Caixa Capital Risc (investing in drug development and medical devices startups) and currently at Faber where I am a partner of its Ocean / Climate Tech fund (investing in deeptech startups with a positive impact in ocean sustainability).

I also have teaching (UOC) and mentoring experience (Startup Catalonia, Founder Institute and Blue Bio Value).
